During the reign of Queen Dayltia, many champions were born. One of the many great challenges of the day was to see the Mountain Devil of Verbaolten — and live to tell the story. The bravest of these champions would be one who could bring back a sword, partially melted from an encounter with the beast itself.

Tales of the Enchanted Lantern traveled to and from the most remote locations. For many centuries, the Lantern stood as a beacon of hope to the human race. In every Great War, the Lantern could be seen leading soldiers into battle or lighting the way across uncharted waters.

There are some things, some moments that mean so much that even war is stopped to honor them. The Harvest Moon is such a moment.
